A great home caregiver is a gift. In this for-profit care environment they are overworked and underpaid. Our vision is to create separate space for them to live at Neighborgood Place. This will help them and those being cared for.

In addition to traditional methods, we believe food is also medicine. Having healthy and delicious food and giving residents opportunities to help prepare healthy food in the kitchen or help bake cookies with their grandchildren is part of our vision to create as many moments of joy as possible.

We have noticed that this transition is difficult for everyone involved. Couples sometimes un-couple and families deal with stress on a very high level in addition to existing family dynamics. Our approach takes all of this into consideration when designing a care plan.
