My Home Care Story
Over the past six years, I’ve worked with more than 125 families — each with their own story about caring for a loved one. This is mine.
When my incredible mom was diagnosed with lung cancer, our family was fortunate to afford 24/7 home care. But despite hiring multiple private and/or professional agencies, we often found caregivers inattentive, asleep, or reluctant to help.
One night, I overheard a caregiver refuse to assist my bedridden mother. That moment changed everything.
I ended up stepping away from a new business I was building to care for her myself. A month after her passing, we met Jane Edwards — a remarkable woman in her 70's who believed in small, community-based care homes. After Jane’s passing, I made it my mission to continue her vision.

About Us
Skilled Care
Our dedicated team of 35+ professionals work closely to address both straightforward and complex care needs.
We offer a comprehensive range of services including daycare, overnight care, respite care for those in need of a break, and compassionate end-of-life care.
All of our caregivers are fully insured and possess a minimum of two years of experience, with the majority bringing over a decade of expertise in private care, care facilities, or hospital settings.
Unlike traditional agencies, we embrace a distinctive approach that prioritizes fair compensation, ensuring our caregivers earn a living wage.
Care Management
Our care management philosophy is rooted in alleviating the family of the burden of care, enabling your loved one(s) to embrace as many joyful moments as possible for as long as possible.
We work to engage our clients in enriching community activities, such as yoga, meditation, or museum visits. For those unable to participate in such outings, we ensure they receive attentive, high-quality care and heartfelt support every day from home.
Through our secure portal, we provide daily updates to family and friends, keeping everyone connected. We also nourish them with wholesome and delicious meals, all delivered with an abundance of warmth, care, and—most importantly—hugs.
End-of-Life Care and Support
Discussing the complexities of end-of-life care, along with the accompanying fears and anxieties, can be deeply challenging.
Our certified Doula team is here to provide compassionate support for both significant and smaller tasks. Whether it’s creating meaningful legacy moments or keepsakes for loved ones, coordinating final arrangements, ensuring your wishes are honored, tailoring services to your preferences, or navigating sensitive family conversations, we are committed to assisting you every step of the way.
